Picnic Story

Hello!

Yesterday,we had our class picnic at East Coast Park... I had fun and I really enjoyed myself and let myself go. Not even a single thought about anything else that should have bothered me. But nope. Not this time. The sweet taste of FREEDOM. :)

We picked a nice and sheltered spot under the coconut trees. There wear benches that made it even more cozy. Firstly, we set up the tents and arranged all the bags. Everyone brought as they were assigned except for me coz my mom decided to make mini pizzas instead of nuggets which I thought was a better idea.

As I was sitting on the rocks by the beach with some of my frens just chilling out, suddenly I heard Aini's voice from behind asking us weather we brought extra clothes and so we answered yes without turning. Little did we know that something fishy was going on.. Out of the blue, water came running down from my head. They sabotaged us! Haktuits!

This meant war! So we came up with an ingenious idea of throwing water bombs back at them as I brought small plastics bags. It was really fun and exhausting. Ustazah Fatizah came and so did Teacher Zubaidah. Sadly,I didn't get to entertain Teacher Zubaidah as I was having a swim with a couple of my frens. When she came, the other half of my classmates asked us to come out of the water coz teacher has arrived and we should greet her. And so we did. After greeting her, I excused myslef coz I wanted to change into fresh clothes and so did my swimming buddies as it was cold. By the time we came back, Teacher was gone. I guess we took a lot of time in the toilet as there were 5 of us and only 3 showers. You know lah that girls consume a lot of time when it comes to getting dressed. I felt really guilt ridden for not being a good host so I sms-ed her and apologized. Fortunately she was ok with it. Phewh.

By the end of the day,I was dead tired and just wanted to go home. When it was time to pack up,everyone did their share in clearing up but I don't think we did a good job coz there were still some left overs on the bench and no one bothered to clear it up coz everyone were tired. Hehe.

But I think that Pasir Ris Park is a better location coz it is a well accessible location as there is a bus that can transport us from the interchange to the park, unlike East Coast Park where the bus operates only on weekends. Cets. Because of that, we had to spent our money on cab fare to transport us from Bedok Interchange to East Coast Park. What a waste!

But overall,it was a fun and pleasant retreat from the real world.

Shout out to a dear friend of mine who has left Singapore for a school trip to China, hope you have fun and take care of urself during those 7 days!

K,till here.. arioz!
