Skit Results

Yesterday was the skit perfomances by upper secondary students. And after their perfomances, it was the prize presentation for the winners of the junior & senior skit & lyric writing competition.

Then came the results...

The winner for the junior skit competition is Secondary 1A. And the winner of the senior skit competition is Secondary 3B.

So we didn't get to be the winner but at least we got 2nd!! Yays. Plus the winners of the junior lyric writing competition is both from 2A. Yays again. Hayati & Maryam won 1st & 2nd place respectively. Congrats!

Saturday outing

Yesterday, Me & Faeezah went to watch Pirates Of The Caribbean:Dead Man's Chest at TM. Finally we watched the movie coz we planned to watch it last Saturday but then it had to be cancelled coz of the Briskwalk. Yesterday was the Track & Field event but obviously i didn't go coz it was TOO early & I don't even know where the stadium is located. LoLs.

The movie was funny & exciting just like the first movie. After the movie, we went to Century Square to go to Faeezah's fav shop, Comics Connection. And guess who we bumped to? Nadra & Nadzurah!! They just went to Comics Connection too. What a coincidence!!

Then we went to Montip on my request. hehe. I bought a wallet that can also fit my hp. Very convenient!

Next we headed to Masjid Darul Ghufran to pray then after the Zohor Prayers we went to the nearest 7 Eleven store & bought MashPotatoes.

Then we decided to go to the Library. I haven't been to the library for so long & I think the book arrangements have changed. Since I didn't find any interesting english book, I borrowed Malay Books instead.

And so thats the end of my fun Saturday Outing.

Skit!

Well,at least at the moment that is,I mean being stress-free. All the homeworks plus projects. At least the english thing is over. Yesterday was by far the most stressful day at school for me coz our class wasn't ready for the skit. Everything was going haywire. Our real rehersal was actually done yesterday thanks to Teacher Syakir that is, for giving us all of his 3 periods for us to practise.

Our story wasn't even completed yet. I was so damn stressed that I felt like giving up. Everything was in a mess. In such situations that I really regret being a monitress sometimes. But then again, life would be so empty without this kinds of test that I have to endure. My head was spinning. Screaming here & there.

We finally placed the missing pieces to the story & had a really stable perfomance at the last few minutes before the assembly started. I was so nervous & kept thinking..'What if they don't get the story? What if its not funny? What if I would make a terrible mistake pronouncing the words to the story?What if if if..??'

This questions really added to my anxiety & nervousness. It was nerve wrecking.

And when it was our turn to perform..I calmed myself down,took the microphone & introduced my class & the title of the skit.

The school's first reaction to the starting of the skit was really unexpected. They all laughed & understood the story. I was happy & relieved. All of the teachers present was laughing too. Phewh..

Overall I think that we did well. I hope we will get 1st or 2nd place,hopefully 1st lah. Hehes.

Briskwalk

Yesterday, we had to walk our way around the whole of Bedok Reservoir. It was very tiring. Me & Afifah walked together all the way to the end. We walked our fastest & soon caught up with Dja & Nadra who was far ahead of us. So when we caught up with them, Me & Dja chit chat lah about the day Dja saw Khairil Yusoff at Geylang.. The best part about yesterday was when Me & Fifa beat a person to the finishing line. Teeheehee.

Anyways, this is month is English month & we have to perform a skit & compose lyrics also. Both of them are due this coming Thursday!! ArGhh!! Our class haven't really discussed about it yet. SO stressful!

Hmmph.

Feeling more comfortable now after wearing my contacts. Haha I noe its kinda weird wearing contacts at home but its much better than squinting my eyes to see things. Donno where I last put my specs. Huhu.

I am going outz wif my family later to go to Woodlands & stop by my grandma's house. At least we are going somewhere & distress ourselves.

As you can see fron the picture above, I so tot dat Germany will face Brazil in the finals. Who wud have guessed dat Brazil will be out so soon rite? Haiz.. Anyways the finals will be France vs Italy. And tonite will be the match for third & fourth placing which will be Portugal vs Germany. Hope Portugal will win!

World Cup Fever-!!!-

First & for most, I would like to dedicate some words of inspiration to all England fans..IN YOUR FACE!! Muakakaka.. Portugal won!! Ricardo was great!! He saved most of England's attempt on penalty shots. And the best was when Christiano Ronaldo scored the winning goal! I was really happy dat Christiano Ronaldo recovered from his injury & was fit enough to play against England.

My happiness didn't last when Brazil lost to France!! Impossible!!!!!!! Never crossed my mind dat Brazil will lose to anyone, let alone lose to France. I had predicted dat Brazil will face Germany in the finals. I am so devastated dat Brazil lost! Sobs.

But maybe there is a blessing in disguise. I guess Portugal have more chances of winning if they face France coz in the coming match, Deco & Costinha will be able to play after their suspension. Everything does happen for a reason rite.. Portugal will have an advantage over France. Although I am sad dat Brazil lost, I am ultimately happy & grateful dat Portugal won against England. And hopefully with this advantage, Portugal can go to the finals & face hometeam, Germany. :)

Portugal won!!! Ole! Ole..Ole Ole!! Ole..Ole..!!

SkoolZ-!!!-

This is the first weekend since the school reopened. Well, the first week of school was fine except for the fact dat I had a very bad soar throat & flu. I had to miss the second day of school & rest at home. My soar throat got better but it wasn't totally gone. My flu was terrible. I kept blowing my nose in class. I just couldn't stand having blocked nose. I had to clear my nose every now & then. So sorry if I had distracted anyone! But now I feel much better & my nose is much clearer, Alhamdulillah. And to all youths..Enjoy the long weekend yar!!
